The Market: The Perry Farmers' Market - on South Main Street’s downtown Festival Plaza (between Borden and Dolbeer) - hosts fifteen to twenty vendors offering a variety of produce for area residents. Weekly music and demonstrations mingle with a festive, colorful atmosphere, places to sit and catch up with friends or just enjoy the sights and sounds of summer.
History:
Located in Perry, NY, the Perry Farmers’ Market was established in 2002 with a handful of vendors on Borden Avenue. With the support of our loyal customers, our hard-working vendors, and beloved volunteers, the Saturday market has since grown to become a regional event and destination in the Genesee Valley, providing residents and visitors alike, not just local, fresh products but a memorable summer experience.
When it’s on:
SATURDAYS 8:30am - 12:30pm, June - September
- Opening Day - third Saturday in June
- Closing Day - last Saturday in September
Farmers' Market Nutrition coupons, available through the Office of the Aging and Women, Infants and Children (WIC), will be accepted at the market.
*The Summer Saturdays Arts Series is made possible in part by the New York State Council on the Arts. We are also thankful to Friends of the Market, and for the generous donation of time from demonstrators.
